29er Mountain Bikes Specialized
Mid Level Mountain Bike?
Right now I have a specialized hardrock sport disc mountain bike, and have used it for about 1 year now, and i feel i am ready to step up to the next level and get a better bike. I spent about 500 on this bike, and want have a price range of about 1000-1700 on this next bike. The most expensive, and my favorite bike I have looked at so far in the Cannondale 29er 2. (http://www.rei.com/product/780429?cm_mmc=cse_froogle-_-datafeed-_-product-_-780429&mr:trackingCode=2A763717-26C6-DD11-9B0F-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA) But that may be a little too pricy. Any suggestions on a good second bike?

These are high-end bikes at a moderate price point.
