Adjusting Mountain Bike Derailers
What is the proper way to set or adjust the front and rear derailer (drive train) of a mountain bike?
Go to the manufactures web site and you can down load the set-up sheet for the model/brand you have.
The front is fairly easy but gives many fits, the front (cable wise) needs to be adjusted for the middle gear, the limit screws take care limiting travel of going to the granny and big ring.
The rear is more touchy, so get the manufactures set-up sheet.
