Answer Mountain Bike Handlebars

answer mountain bike handlebars
Should I have this injury checked out?

While mountain biking, I fell over my handlebars going about 5-10 miles per hour. The handle was jammed into my lower pelvic area (about 3 inches down and 2 inches left of “belly-button”). That body hurts and aches whenever I cough/sneeze/clear my throat. The area is a little swollen and it isn’t red. I would like to know if I should see a doctor and if it isn’t very serious, what should I do?
I would prefer people with medical experience answering and thank you.

If its swollen you should probably see the doctor just to make sure their is no Internal bleeding, you can bleed up to 2 litters with out so much of a bruise if you hit in the right spot. and its always better safe than sorry.
