Colored Mountain Bike Chains
Can I use a string to a 9speed singlespeed mountain bike?
I want to buy a chain KMC single speed, rather than a SRAM 9speed one because they are cheaper and come in color. My SX Trail is 9speed, and I'm anxious to see if it would work. They are the same length string, so why work?
As already mentioned, a simple chain velocity will be larger than the entire chain of various speeds. If placed on a single speed chain, which rubs on the sprocket at the back and just be a disaster, no!
