Looking to buy a bike, any help?

I know what I want the bike for, problem is I am not sure what style of bike I should be looking at. I am hoping someone here can answer that question for me. I want a lighter style bike that will be used as a way of extra exercise and recreation. I’m already in pretty good athletic shape, I’m just looking for a way to stay little busier during my downtime. I want to start riding somewhere around 20 miles or more a day, through my city streets, up and down hills, but that i can also take into my state park that has dirt roads with high slopes and I’ll eventually start doing downhill riding and jumping. On special occasions I plan on driving up to the mountains and riding hills there too. Any idea what specific type of bike would be a good choice that’s light, comfortable enough for long distance speed riding, and is durable enough to take the abuse of bumpy dirt roads and downhill jumping?

You need to be realistic, you need three or four different bikes to do all of that. Visit the local bike shop and start buying.
