Fox Mountain Bike Suspensions
What fork should i upgrade to on my all mountain bike?
I have a devinci hucker 1 and i want to upgrade to a better suspension then the current rock shox dart. I use the bike for dirt jumps and trails, so an all mountain and/or free ride fork should be good. I was looking at the rock shox pike, fox talas and vanilla and marzocchi 66vf and some other marzoochi models. What is best for what i ride
I have also thought of just selling the bike and gettin a norco manik or sasquatch as they are betetr frames n betetr forks
I wouldn’t recommend the 66 on that frame unless you’re looking to make pretty much strictly a freeride hardtail. It’s not going to be very eager to climb anything with a 180mm fork.
Check out the Marzocchi 55 ATA or 55 RC3. They’re both 160mm travel… the RC3 is coil sprung and the ATA is air sprung with travel adjust so you can drop it down to 120mm for climbing.
