Giant Mountain Bike Craigslist
Need some help on buying a Giant Mountain bike?
I have a guy on craigslist selling me a Giant Mountain Bike, all disk brakes, for 200 bucks? Does that sound right? Also I’m 6′ 5″ am I going to need a larger frame than an average person?
Yea he said it was a “top of the line” Giant mountain bike so we’ll see but I did ask about the frame size and waiting for a reply. Can you find used bikes in bike shops for 300 or less? I’m not looking to spend a fortune but want a decent bike that fits me as well.
Ok it’s a Giant Allux 6000 series, all disc brakes, 24 or 26 inch frame in great condition? for 200 bucks? Sound good?
Most likely an older bike, but it could be a good deal. However Bob A is right at 6’5″ odds are the frame will be smaller than you need, 18″ (M) and 20″(L) are the most common sizes I’ve seen on used bikes. Ask the seller for the size hopefully it is a 22″(XL).
EDIT: Allux 6000 is the frame material not a model, also the frame size sounds more like tire a size (a 26″ frame would be HUGE.).
