Trek 6700 or GT Zaskar Expert?
Both bikes are great, but I want to chose one

The GT weighs 26 pounds, has a complete Deore LX drive-train, Rock Shox Reba SL fork (air sprung), and costs $1,000
The Trek has a primarily Sram drive-train, Rock Shox Recon SL (coil) fork, weighs 28 pounds, is also nice, and costs $1,000.
Both bikes are great but I can’t decide which one is better.
The Air fork on the GT is much more adjustable than the Recon fork and I would opt for that over any coil fork but that is just me, all of my forks are air anyway. The GT is lighter and overall better speced out than the Trek. Hubs on the GT are better slightly and its full LX which is equivalent to X7 in an 08 model but not in an 09 model since SLX is the new group to replace LX. I think you should stick with the GT even though I like that white on the Trek the GT just says take me home!
