Michelin Mountain Biking Tires

what bike tyre is best for me?
I’ve been riding for a lot of yrs and tried many different tyres.. I am looking for the right tyre for my bike 2005 Gsxr 750 134 hp out the back wheel.. I ride about 30 kms a day to and from work BUT love the mountains.. I currently have yokohama stealths (super soft) ‘first tyre I got to scrape my peg with’ on at the moment they work great but the centre of the tyre down to indecater already.. NOW also it is a 180/50 and i’m using all the tyre so is it alright to go to a 190/55 to give me a safer ride (eg; get lower)..
I need a multi compound tyre ( if posable ) and also I told not to get a tyre with the tread that goes alway to the edge.. I have been looking at the michelin pilot ct and the new dunlop … Is there a certain tyre for my bike..
CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER ? cause bike shops will sell you anything they got in stock… ps; front tyre 120/70 and still working great..
Pilot Power CT2′s are the best tires I have ever run on my bike. I run the 190/55/17 and it sticks better than Dunlop, or Bridgestones. You oughtta try a set if you do a lot of twisty riding. The only drawback with sticky tires of course, is the life span isnt as long as the harder compound tires. If you want something a little more for the life length but less sticky, try the Pilot Road.
