Can you Put a motor on a Mongoose?
I have a mongoose XR-75 and am wondering if you can put a motor of any type;gas or electric on it? Its a 21 speed mountain bike.
You have the TOY version of a Mongoose bike (wal mart junk) and No you cannot retro fit this or many other types of so called “full suspension” bikes with a motor. The motor would easily cost way more than the $180 bike did in the first place and what sense would that make? Cheaper to buy a pocket bike and get rid of this “mountain bike” you have. NO you cannot do this.
