Mongoose Mountain Bike Sprockets
how can you tell if you have a freewheel or cassette sprocket on a bike?
i have a Mongoose XR-200 21 speed mountain bike and i need to know what type of sprocket i have. i know there is a cassette and a freewheel sprocket, but im not sure which one it is.
It will be a freewheel on 21 speed bikes and lower. The freehub and cassette will usually be 24 speeds or higher.
