Mountain Bike Axle Rear

Can i put Pegs on my 20in Mountain bike without replacing the axle?
i have a 20in mountain bike, and i was wondering if i can go buy pegs at Wal-mart or something, and install it on my mountain bike without replacing/changing the rear axle? so, can i?
Yes, you just screw off the axle nuts, and screw on the pegs. They act as the axle nuts themselves.
