Mountain Bike Bash Guard
Can i get a new bash guard?
I need to replace the front bash guard on a carrera banshee mountain bike, I was told i had to replace the whole front gear set at a cost of £30, Thing is the bash gaurd is just abit of cheap plastic and it does not seem worth replacing it again and it breaks again. any ideas?. many thanks Jamie.
Honestly, that sounds about right on the price for a bashguard alone, not a whole ring gear set. You might think its just a cheap piece of plastic but they’re actually kinda tech… Especially the eThirteen bashguards. In any case, £30 is about $40-42 in USD and I just called my local shop rep who said he could get new bashguards for about $30-35 USD, plus tax. So you’re not getting ripped off or anything, just the cost of hard riding. Cheers!
