Mountain Bike Baskets
Can somebody help me find the right bike?
I am planning to move to a new city where I plan to no long have a car. I am looking for a new bike, but am not sure where to start! The bike will be primarily for riding to school (college)/work. I would like something that has a basket on the back or front, or some kind of rack that I can place extra things I may need to carry (or anything like that). Also, I’d like something comfortable with the handlebars higher (so I’m not bending over while riding), and am not looking for like a fast fitness/mountain bike or anything. Speed does not matter.
If anyone could give me tips on what kind bike I should be looking for (I don’t know all the technical name or anything which is why I can’t find anything online) or perhaps a website I could check out I would be extremely grateful. Also, of course I want the price to be as low as possible, but I’m willing to be flexible in this area if it meets all my other requirements.
Get a raleigh hybrid. It can carry some stuff at the back and very low maitenance. Hybrid is less crumpsy than mountain bike which is good for cycling around in the city. You are expected to pay around £180 from a raleigh dealer, it is also available in lady version. I am sure you will love this bike.
