carbon wrap vs. full carbon stems w/ links?

I’m pondering between the carbon wrap stems (KORE Race Carbon/Ritchey WCS etc) vs. the latest full carbon stem (T700 high modulus carbon fiber as Hylix and etc).
I’m focused on the road absorbing and look of carbon fiber, but am worried about it snapping on me.
I would prefer full carbon and am hoping that the latest carbon technology does away with any reliability/durability issues.
Considering I’m on a road bike and not a mountain bike, I’m 90% leaning towards carbon.
Please provide specific links on the comparisons if possible and your background.
