Choosing a Road Bike Windsor Wellington 3.0?
I’m looking at getting a road bike to take out on the weekends. I’ve always ridden mountain bikes before and wanted to get some feedback before I invested.
I’m looking at the Windsor Wellington 3.0 with “Advanced Butted AL Frame, Carbon Fork, AeroRim Wheels, Threadless Stem” from here http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/windsor/wellington3_IX.htm
Anyone use a street bike? Any suggestions or things to watch out for when buying?
It’s an “entry level” road bike with one major flaw. Single wall rims vs. better double walled rims. Up your price range just a bit to get one with the stronger, longer lasting double walled rims. Or, for the same price, a Motobecane Mirage. Link below.
