Could I use Hoppe’s 9 gun oil to lubricate my Mountain Bike Chain and the gears?
Could I use Hoppe’s 9 gun oil to lubricate my mountain bike chain and the gears? Thank you!!!
i would always recommend using an oil which has PTFE in it,this helps to disperse the dirt and water and helps to prevent rusting.other oils tend top attract dirt and act as a bonding agent.this may not seem like too much of a problem at first but it will do more damage than good and the bike parts will wear out quicker.do not use wd40 this is not the same,go to your local bike dealer.
