Interesting Topics Among The Professors
The two popular teachers strolled on campus, chatting about the students and their own plans for summer trips. Walking past one of the students both knew, they noticed he must have been working out lately. One said to the other, that she noticed considerable muscle growth since she last saw him.
They change a lot in a year the professors agreed. They walked through the flowered campus past large trees. They had mostly decent kids on campus. The girls get a little too drunk sometimes. Outside of that things were pretty good.
They had both seen the girls hitting on the male professors up to age fifty even. Some were actually love-struck. Others were doing it for an A in his class.
We might be called cougars if it happened to us they mused. Wondering if any boy would approach them they laughed a little. How they would handle it was impossible to predict.
Nodding hello to a girl riding by on an expensive schwinn mountain bike, both thought of what this spring weather meant. It meant spring fever, daydreaming during lectures and outdoor barbecue and beer parties. That’s what it meant to the students.
Spring time meant grading papers and preparing exams to the two of them. Both had students who tried to pass of papers that were ordered online. They could always tell, or thought they could.
How can they think teachers don’t know when a paper isn’t written by them. They hire a freelancer to write it for them. Spending $300 for having it written is not uncommon. The little fools are missing out on a good education when they cheat.
They reminisced about arrests on campus, usually for underage drinking. Some of these kids could care less about education. They even drink in the dorms they agreed, shaking their heads.
They went on to discuss the Emo kids and how they dyed their hair black. Then they dye a pink stripe down one side. Really strange they agreed. The boys wear so much eye make-up.
I really am afraid of some of the Goths. Some are wannabees, but others seem to really think they are vampires. Their devotion to sadness is frightening.
They discussed the danger of sadness leading to suicide as they approached the parking lot. Saying goodbye, one told the other about the best golf instruction book she expected to read before Sunday. She hoped the ground was dry enough for a few rounds. They said goodbye, got in their cars and drove home for the weekend.
