how hard/soft should i have my forks set on my mountain bike for free ride and dirt jumping?
SR suntour forks XRC
if your using a suntour xcr fork for freeride and dirt jumping, save yourself from trips to the sickbay and stop. this fork is designed for cross country, thus the name. you can use it for all mountain without big drops but i wouldn’t use it for hucking. besides dirt jump forks are designed to be a bit stiff to absorb all that impact, the xcr is way too plush for this. it is however a great trail fork for its price.
