I have a Kona Fire mountain! help on single speed?
i have a Kona fire mountain and my gear system broke off, even the little metal part that hookes the gear system to the bike, what do i need to do to turn it into a single speed? i took the gears off the tires and already put the single speed gear on, but the chain wont fit to the crank it keeps falling off i have no idea why?
ive been trying to fix it for months
1: what would i need
2: how much would it cost
3:where are the changes
4: where would i buy these parts

you need a chain tensioner but most of these fit via the derailleur hanger, if that’s gone your options are limited, go to your bike shop and ask them.
