They can also enter Cyprus through passenger ships that are connected major ports like Rhodes, Heraklion, Port Said and Haifa. However, these traveling passenger services are very less in number, especially in winters.
In case tourists plan to enter Cyprus through land, they should remember to wear helmets, if on bikes, and they should never violate the speed limits anywhere. Few other travel tips to remember are that they should be above 21 years in case they wish to rent a car otherwise they can drive their own car for 90 days, provided they have valid registration.
Stifado, and garides are interesting names when comes to food issues in Cyprus, these are famous dishes prepared with beef and prawns. It’s a sea food lover’s paradise. Tava, dolmades are some other famous sea food dishes that are served in this part of world. Cyprus is well known for its wine and brandy that can be found more in southern region of the country. Coffee is the formal drink and you can find everything you need in local food stores.
For the ones who want to exercise their taste buds, Cyprus is never behind in displaying its culinary skills. Seafood lovers would especially enjoy the delicacies like Tava, Dolmades, stifado and garides. These are famous dishes of Cyprus which are prepared from ingredients including beef and prawn. If you prefer a non-alcoholic beverage, Coffee is the choice you can go for in Cyprus which is the formal drink of the country. The local food stores are the best places to visit in case of day to day requirements.

The local culture is an amalgamation of the Turkish and Greek cultures. One can even see some of dash of the British culture also.
