Mountain Bike Folding Tire
Why do bikes have smaller tires than others?
I’m looking to get another bike.
I keep looking at folding bikes,
but many of their tires are small; why?
What is the point of small tires for ANY bike?
I’m used to 26″ Mountain Bikes.
I would prefer electric but they’re costly.
Next best choice is folding bikes–
to carry on the bus–
but like I said,
so many of them have small tires.
Why?
Small tryes are for road racing bikes. They have skinny tyres to lessen the friction of the road so they can go faster with less friction holding them back. But they are only for the road dont take them of road xD.
