Marzocchi zr-1 fork for mountain bike? Are they any good?
I am upgrading my bike for christmas and my dad has emailed a guy on craigslist in regards to a pair of marzocchi zr-1 mtb forks. They have 5 inches of travel..they are air/oil. IDK much else about them. Anyone who has used these can you give me a review of them
They’re alright but old, I think it’s been 2 or 3 years now since Zocchi made that fork. You’d be better off going with a newer fork like the 55R. They arent particularly expensive but will perform much better than the older Z1 will, and will offer much better reliability than a few years old used fork. Lot’s of places are blowing out the ’08 & ’09 55′s right now too so they can make room for the ’10 lineup.
