Mountain Bike Gary Fisher

Mountain bike, what should i get? giant or gary fisher?
I have atm a giant rock, it takes a thrashing from the terrain i ride it on. im looking for a bike that is around £450. I have my eyes on the gary fisher wahoo disk and the giant talon 2.5. which is best? or any suggestions what i should get? thanks
First, to answer your question… Generally speaking, Giant makes better bicycles than Gary Fisher does.
I should also add that the second poster has no clue what he’s saying as Fishers havent been made in the USA for a decade or so, if not longer. Also, it’s worth pointing out that the majority of ALL bicycle frames are actually produced by Giant. They are the largest producer of frames in Taiwan where most mid to high end frames are produced… There’s a handful of companies that do it but Giant is by far the largest. Since Fisher, nor Trek for that matter, publicize where they have their frames produced, it’s actually possible that they’re made in a Giant factory.
That being said, I’m guessing you’re from the UK since the Talon is a UK only model for Giant…. If that’s the case, you should really check out Orange. The Orange G2 should be in your price range and is a nicer ride than either of these two. If you can swing the extra cash, the Orange Crush is really nice!
Cheers & Happy Trails!
