Mountain Bike Gyro

Can you put a gyro brake system onto a V-Brake mountain bike?
i have a specialized hardrock sport, and i have V-Brakes. i want to put GYRO brakes on it, the ones that do bar spins, is it possible?
cheers.
Thats a dangerous game you are playing.
First, the geometry of the frame is too steep to give you any kind of control if you should try a bar spin. Second, the diameter of the wheels would cause a very high degree of inertia and possibly throw you off the bike. I can give you a host of physics related reasons why it would be ill-advised to do it.
That being said, a Gyro is not the brakes, it is a unit that mounts to the headtube to stop the brake cables from getting fouled. Although I imagine it could possibly be accomplished it would take a lot of noodling around. No self respecting shop would do it for you and if they did it would open up a lot of liability WHEN, not IF, you get hurt.
