Apart from skiing, what is the best sport to train for big mountain, powder skiing?

I usually take a trip to the rockies each year. And each year, I swear I will do more training before arriving. So, I took up mountain biking in August and have built up good strength in 3 months, including some serious hill climbs (well, 3 reps up a 300 foot ski hill during 2 hour rides).

Cycling works pretty well for me. Climbing hills out of the saddle is the best to mimic skiing.
