Mountain Bike Jeep Cherokee
I just bought a new mountain bike, a Jeep Cherokee and it is giving me some gear trouble.?
I’m having trouble changing gears. Many times it will not let me change into the highest and lowest gears after I change the handle bar switch to those respective gears. Instead it will rattle like it is trying to change into those gears, but it won’t change. Once in a while I can manage to get them into the gear that I want, but not ot often. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
go to a bike store to get it fixed. Not something you want to adjust not having done it before. You could make the problem worse.
It is caused from cable stretch.
Ask the shop if they can show you how to adjust in case you are out on the road or trail and it happens.
