Mountain Bike Jump Building
Should I get this FX mountain bike??? 10pts best answer!!!!!?
I was originally going to get a Kona Stinky 6 2010 model Dh (down hill) bike, but they are not built for rec riding just going well, down a hill and they are very heavy. so I am now going to get an Fx style MBT. I am looking at a Trek Fuel EX 6 http://www.trekbikes.com/au/en/bikes/mountain_full_suspension/fuel_ex/fuelex6/
The Fuel Ex 8 is just a little to expensive.
i want to know if this is a good bike, does anyone know how the air coil rear suspension is i know that i have to get a pump for it.
Know of a better bike??? please tell me.
i want it for jumping up to about 3m high jumps and also light enough for riding rail trails.
I live in Australia, in victoria on the eastern out skirts of melbourne.
My budget at the Absolute MAX is $3000, but i would prefer not spending any more than the trek which is $2600.

I have a Fuel EX8 and it’s a great trailbike. However, it definitely won’t handle 3mts jumps. It’s likely that you will have too look hard at a bike that can handle both trail riding and 3 mts jumps.
