Mountain Bike Khs
Can someone give me some info on a KHS AM 1000 Mountain bike?
Im thinking of purchasing a used KHS AM 1000 mountain bike of a friend,he is asking $700 for it and its in good condition regular tear and wear. Is it worth the price? and if not what would be a reasonable price for this bike model? And whats the ups and downs on these bikes? I have a hard tail 07 diamond back response comp and been wanting to move up to full suspension, i ride your normal trails nothing extreme but challenging, I need help deciding. Thanks.
I got a new-in-box ’07 cannondale rush 700 on ebay for $750 so a used KHS for $700 sounds pricey, but if he has some component upgrades may be a good deal. An AM 2000 has a BIN of $950 on ebay.

This bike is heavy duty, for “normal trail riding nothing extreme.” a bit much The AM designation means push me off of some 3′ drops. So if you will ride the bike its worth it, if it is just gonna sit in the garage because you like your DB then its a waste…
