Mountain Bike Lights Battery
How do I build a low voltage LED chase light bar for the back of my mountain bike to run on battery?
I would like to make myself VERY visible to motorists when riding at night on my mountain bike. I want at least one Knight Rider style LED chaser bar for the back under my seat and maybe one on the front in white or amber also. I just want to build these with parts from like Radio Shack. I am no electro whiz but can follow schematic and directions. I would like to incorporate white, amber and red in the project. I have even thought about building a bar similar to those on cop motor bikes but NO Blue.
Buy a tail and head light and run them in flasher mode. They are designed for that purpose and use high output LED’s and have lenses and reflectors to make them more efficient.
