Mountain Bike Lightweight Frame

I want to build my own Mountain Bike,?
what would be the best frame.i would like it to be lightweight and somewhat cheap…
Generally, people build their own bikes, not to save money, but when they have some real specific components they want to use. It is pretty much impossible to build your own bike using new components for less than you can buy one off the shop floor. The only way you can build your own bike for less money is if you have lots of otherwise unemployed pieces and parts laying about that you can assemble into a bike.
Regarding your two main criteria: lightweight and cheap, these are pretty much mutually exclusive. If you want lightweight, you’ve really got to come out of your pocket. If you want inexpensive, be prepared for heavy.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to the best frame. The answer really depends on what you are looking for. Some companies make great hardtails, others make wonderful XC racers, still others make excellent all-mountain bikes, downhill racers, dirt jumpers, etc. If you can provide some more detail, I am sure people will be happy to help you out.
If you are really hoping to get an inexpensive machine, I suggest you keep an eye on Craigslist and put the word out at your local bicycle shop. A good used bike may be exactly what you need. Also, if you are willing to collect some bikes, you may build a small warehouse of parts from which to build your dream machine.
Hope this helps you out.
