Mountain Bike Lockout Fork
What Orange mtb should I go for?
I’m thinking of getting an Orange mountain bike, I’ve got two options and would appreciate anyone in-the-knows opinion.
I have either the option of a 2010 Orange P7 S with a Rock Shox Tora 302 w-Lockout U-turn 130mm fork for £1049 or a 2009 Orange G2 with either a Rock Shox Tora SL w/Lockout 100mm fork for £650 or Rock Shox Recon SL Solo Air w/Lockout fork for £735.
What do you think would be best for me, I’m upgrading from a ’97 Kona L’anai and do mostly commuting to work, however I used to ride trials in the Berkshire forests and would love to get back into it, hence not wanting to go absolute rock bottom cheap as chips.
hmmm. in my opinion, i would go for the p7 as you can tell where the money has gone. Quality steel frame and a good trail fork. it will be good for commuting too. and lets face it it’s not bad looking either.
