I found a bike that appeared to be abandon should I keep it or turn it in to the police?
I was hiking on a trail and found a Mongoose XR75 mountain bike with semi flat tires and a moderately warped front rim I took it to the gas station and filled the tires and fixed the brakes and rode it home. QUESTION: should I keep it or give it to the police lost and found. Thing is no good deed goes unpunished. What if it was stolen and dumped? could I be blamed? What should I do? Need advise Please help!
You should take it to the police. It could have been stolen and dumped there. And if that’s the case, you could get in trouble for having it in your possession.
