Mountain bike tire keeps deflating help!?

One day I got mixed up with the tire pressure of inflating your tire, and pumped my mountain bike tire up to 80 and though it was ok. Then my dad explained to me that it was suppose to be much lower.

Now that I lowered it, my tire is deflated after one week! Their are no punctures and everything seems to be fine. I just don’t want to go out to the golf course or something and have my tire deflated all the way without transportation.

Check the fill valve (schrader valve). Take the cap off with the valve down near the ground. Take some soapy water and put a few drops in the valve. Watch for bubbles. If there are bubbles, the valve may either be loose (there’s a small tool available to tighten it) or the valve is defective. If there’s no bubbles, you have a leaky inner tube. Take the tire off, and take the tube out, inflate the tube, and stick it in a tub of water and look for bubbles. It has to be one of these suggestions.
