Mountain Bike Rear Shock Pressure

Why are the Rear Shocks on My Gary Fisher Mountain bike slagging?
Hello,
I have a Gary Fisher Hi-fi plus mountain bike, with a Fox Float RP3 rear shock device, and for a while, it was really weak and my pedals would hit the ground. I tried filling it up with air from a gas station and it ended up like exploding a bunch of green ooze. I think it added to the amount of air pressure, however, because its not as bad sagging, but still kind of hits the ground sometimes. What should I do?
See a Trek/Gary Fisher dealer now. Get it replaced. It’s broke.
