Mountain Bike Sizing Fitting
Want to ship my GT mountain bike from Berlin too South Carolina. What will that cost? Airline costs 200 euros.
Not looking for an exact price and am sure it depends on size and weight. Bike is fairly light and fits in a standard box.
I flew on Continental to Geneva on my way to the French Alps. I ended up paying $90 each way to take my bike. So maybe 200 Euros is about right.
At the time, I thought about shipping the bike via Fed Ex or UPS. It would have cost about $500.
Go with the airline option. It’s not cheap but the alternative is even more expensive. If you’re lucky and board late you can see your bike being loaded on the plane. Then you know it’s not lost.
