Mountain Bike Sponsorship
Other ways of getting mountain bike sponsorships?
I joined this site I heard about, Sponsorhouse.com, and all the sponsors want riders who compete but the downfall is there’s not many races around where I live, so I don’t know how I couldnpossibly gain sponsors, although I’m more into riding street not racing. Any sponsored riders out there got any suggestions?
Enter races…win races…repeat. Not having races near where you live is not a valid excuse! You MUST bring yourself to a race…not the other way around. Once you start winning- I guarantee you a sponsor will sign you up. There is no other way around this, pal. You must prove to any sponsor you are COMPETITIVE enough to WIN.
Based on what you already wrote, you are not nearly ready to be sponsored and compete. Being fast on the street is NOWHERE near as being fast on the dirt – which requires lungs, legs, bike handling and technical trail skills that require hours upon hours of training. If you think you are fast now…there is always somebody else FASTER…enough said!
