Mountain Bike Tires 26×1.95
What is a good tire width for XC mountain biking?
My current tires right now are 26×1.95. My rims are Alexrims ACE-18
There are too many variables, the most important thing is not tire width but tread pattern and air pressure. To find a good tire the selection needs to be based on,
a) type of terrain, ie. soft, hard, mud, etc.
b) type of riding, Xc, downhill, free-ride, casual trail riding, etc.
There are a few others but these are the most important ones.
