Mountain Biking Appalachian Mountains
is mountain biking illegal on the Appalachian trail ?
I can’t be sure but I hiked the trail several times before and never saw any bikes. This was in rugged parts of the trail in Tennessee. It could be different in milder, more open sections in another area though. Sorry I couldn’t help.
