Wife jealous over husband spending time with children?
Hi, i was recently laid off because of a slow down at work (mostly because of the economy) So I’ve had more time to spend with my kids taking them to school , bike, riding day trips to the mountains,etc. My wife can’t go because shes a nurse and works weekends and holidays, and has a real funky schedule. She admitted shes jealous and actually doesn’t even want to hear about the outings we go on. Is this normal or is she just a selfish person that only cares about her feelings?
She works wile we are asleep and sleeps wile we are awake. I make alomst as much as she dose with my unenployment checks. I was almost making 100,000k a year for 15 years. I’m 46 and taking a break from a hard construction style job.
Any time off she has is spent sleeping to recover from her wacko schedule. Even the 12yr old wants her to change it but she’s so stubborn. I fell she chose that career and unconventional hours so how’s that my problem except for the obvious.
i am not trying to be mean when i say this but she needs to get some counseling. She should not feel jealous of her children. however, maybe if you show her a little more attention and try to figure out things all of you can do together, this should help her.
