I want to buy a good cheap dual suspension mountain bike?
I Live in Kamloops. I need a new mountain bike mines screwed but I want a good one like a kona but not have to pay a leg and a arm. anyone got any Ideas. And if you can, tell me how to convince my mom to buy me one.

The words ‘good’ and ‘cheap’ do not go together – period. A truly ‘good’ full suspension mountain bike will start start about $1,500 and just go & up in price. The lowest priced Trek Fuel EX 5 is $1,699.99.
That rear shock is NOT there for rider comfort. It’s there to keep the rear wheel on the ground. The more suspension a bike has, the more energy is soaked up through the frame & not delivered to the rear wheel. You will work harder & go slower on a full suspension mountain bike compared to any other type of bike.
And since you need to ask Mom for the $$$, I seriously doubt you will be doing any super tough off-road trails. A good hardtail bike is a much better choice & a lot less money.
