Mountain Biking Kanata
Should I get a BMX Freestyle Bike ?? I’m 14 and I live at Kanata, Ontario, Canada?
What might be the max age for some one doing BMX ?? I usually see people in their 20s mountain biking instead of BMX, should I buy a MTB instead ??
Please give in all your opinions
It really depends on how seriousley you would take either sport. Also, it is really important that you think about where you live. If your neighborhood is full of hills, do not under any circumstances, get a bmx bike. the single gear makes it a pain to get around but if the area is rather flat, there is no need for a mountain bike. But this decision is all up to you and your personal preferance. I love my BMX bike because I really like to hit up my local skatepark and jumps. the absolute biggest factor is if you would use either of them to their maximum potential. If you arent going to skateparks or tracks, or if you arent flying down mountains or any thing like that, it really doesnt matter.
So here is what you need to do:
1. Consider what your hood looks like
2. Consider how much you would use it for what it is intended
3. Go to a shop, try a bunch of bikes out and see what suits you. almost no two bikes are exactley the same so find what works for you and go with it.
