Mountain Biking Magazine Subscription
Which magazine is better, MBR or Mountain Biking UK?
I want to get my boyfriend a mountain biking magazine subscription for Christmas and was wondering which one to go for, MBR or Mountain Biking UK. Any opinions would be gratefully recieved
Depends upon the type of riding that he likes doing.
If he likes doing tricks and jumps, then I would go for UK. However, if he likes doing XC work or trail centres, MBR.
The two magazines are aimed at two completely different markets. MBUK will tell you how to do simple stunts and give product advice accordingly. This is useful.
MBR will plug the big weekend away or tail centre, reviewing these, as well as the latest full susser bike or hardtail. A decent mag and I subscribe to it. However, do not expect them to know where the midlands are or what trail questing is about.
