Mountain Biking Michigan
What state would be best for me to live in?
I live in michigan now
I want to move somewhere mountainous, and scenic, that offers a lot
ex. mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, very into bicycling, has somewhere close that I can take my jeep off-roading.
I prefer that it has a short winter
and a lot of lakes
I really like Colorado but The winters are too long and the cost of living is really expensive
any suggestions are appreciated
VIRGINIA! You want to be someplace in the mountains with short winters you are thinking Appalachians. North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee. Lots of bicycling clubs. A lot of very large lakes too. Lake Gaston, Lake Norman, Lake Wylie. Rafting is best in Tennessee or West Virginia though Charlotte is home to the US Whitewater Rafting center.
My other suggestion would be Utah. A lot of kayakers out there and a lot of biking, especially around Arches. Though I don’t know about a lot of lakes there.
