Mountain Biking Moab

mountain biking moab
should i go to moab or zion?

its mud season now, im bored, and unemployed. i need to go do something cheep so i figure ill go camping. i have no gear so it would be out of my car, but i would want to mountain bike, fly fish, and hike (im not a serious biker, just like to ride around on the mountains). which one should i go to? zion is about 6 hours away moab about 5 so the distance isnt an issue. i havnt been to either so both would be a great experience. i would also be bringing my 80lb dog so the hikes would have to be easy enough for her, she is a great hiker and can do some medium to tough trails. but i am big into photography so i would love some breath taking views i could get photos of.
thanks for that, i started looking into it and dogs arnt really allowed on any trails. so then i guess my question is… where should i go in utah (preferably mid to south so i can get into some warm weater) to fish, MB, and hike with my dog?

Neither because dogs aren’t allowed in the back-country of any NP
Your best bet is a somewhere on the stretch of SR 95 between Hanksville UT and Mexican Hat UT

If you’re heading south on SR 95 make a right on SR 261 and go down the legendary Moki Dugway a road which you will either fall madly in love with or a road which will scare the crap out of you .With me both things happened at the same time
Get a DeLorme Road Atlas and Gazetteer for Utah so you know where the frogg you’re going and if you pass thru Moab en-route ask the locals at the bike shops what they recommend in the area
Have fun
Update
