Mountain Biking Monterey Bay
I want to get into mountain biking but what equipment do I need besides the bike and helmet? ?
Is Fuji a good mountain bike? Anyone know good trails around Monterey Bay, CA, Sacramento or LA?
There’s lots of equipment you can get, but you don’t need any of it starting out. I’d recommend shoes, gloves, and shorts. But get some rides in before you start spending money on stuff like that.
I would definitely get a hardtail. You’ll get more bike for the money. If you don’t have someone helping you that knows what they’re doing then buy a bike from a bike shop. Most shops will steer you in the right direction.
