Mountain Biking Morzine
I’m interested in buying my 1st downhill mountain bike, can anyone give me some suggestions?
Looking to pay around £1000 and want lightweight. I’ve only ever had a normal mtb is downhill the same as full sus? I want to start to try and do small jumps and little tricks in the garden and progress, my friends are going to morzine this summer downhilling. Can a downhill mtb do jumps n tricks as well or is a different bike needed? Would like a bike to do both tbh.
Downhill bikes are not light… ever. They are long travel, beefy bikes made to withstand the vigors of downhilling.
1,000 pounds (1300-ish US) is the low end of DH bikes. and buying used is a scary proposition but that may be your best bet. If you do choose that route, look sat it VERY closely.
