Ideas for cool camping near Las Vegas?
With mountain biking and hiking trails would be great. Thanks
Redrock is not a good place for camping – campfires not allowed. However, it is great for mountain bike trails.
Mount Charleston has GREAT mountain bike trails AND campgrounds.
Lake Mead is pretty cool for camping and biking as well.
Valley of Fire is a MUST for biking. Not quite sure about the camping.
Driving to Pahrump from Las Vegas on Blue Diamond Road, you will need to go over a mountain pass (we call it the hump to pahrump *wink wink*). There you will find campgrounds and very interesting trails. See attached url’s.
