Mountain Biking Olympia Wa
Should I move to Seattle or Denver?
I’m considering moving to either Seattle, Washing or Denver, Colorado. Any input on where a better destination would be and why? My hobbies consist of mountain biking, kayaking, hockey, camping, hiking and film making. I’ve been to Colorado before and loved it. I have yet to see Washington though. Other considerations are Olympia, WA and Boulder, CO.

they both have their benefits. For me, I’m a skier and there’s not great skiing in seattle, so I miss that about it. However, Seattle is much more beautiful than denver I think. The city is gorgeous plus you have the waterfront from the puget sound or lake washington..and mountains..it’s just gorgeous.
Denver is my home, though, so I think its awesome as well. What is a benefit (for me) about denver is that it has a pro sports team for almost any sport..i love to go to sporting events. whereas, seattle only have baseball, football, and soccer (no hockey, basketball, etc..).
If you have to live IN seattle (not in a surrounding neighborhood) houses/apartments are going to be way more expensive. So if having a nicer place to live for cheaper is important to you, then Denver would be a good choice..seattle is very expensive to live in.
all depends on your interests, though. oh, and also colorado (although it gets snowy and cold) is sunny almost EVERY day out of the year. living in seattle so long, I kinda forget what the sun looks like sometimes. it can get kind of annoying that there is almost NEVER sun : it’s beautiful during the summer though and always green, which denver isn’t.
sorry so long lol…i’m still honestly trying to decide between the two ! both great cities.
