Known as the best wine exporting region in the country, Marlborough is a crucial stop off for any traveller. It’s a great place to visit for restaurants and wine tours, and the region is also one of the most picturesque in the country. Marlborough is a great place to get in touch with nature; walk through some of the beautiful forests in the area or take a dolphin ecotour around the Sounds. Picton serves as a gateway to Wellington and the rest of the North Island as is a beautiful little seaside town.
